My career began in the operating room, where I spent 13 years assisting in surgeries and providing support to understaffed hospitals across the United States. Through my travels, I had the opportunity to explore different healthcare settings and lend a helping hand where it was needed the most. It was during a travel assignment in Sarasota, FL, in the early 2000s that I discovered my deep affection for this area. When the time came to settle down, there was no doubt in my mind that this was where I wanted to be.

Originally hailing from North Carolina, I have a profound love for my home state and the genuine southern charm it exudes. My background as a surgical nurse led me to work alongside an esteemed Plastic Surgery team at Stanford University Medical Center, which provided me with extensive experience and invaluable knowledge.

In addition to my surgical expertise, I also dedicated a portion of my career to clinical research as a co-investigator for pharmaceutical clinical trials. However, it was the field of Cosmetic Injection Research that truly ignited a strong passion within me. As a certified practitioner in Botox and Fillers, I proudly serve as the lead Nurse Practitioner at Sirius Day Spa in Lakewood Ranch.
